 Spotlight

Chang ZHAO

Chang Zhao graduated from UNC Chapel Hill in 2015 with a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology, and worked at NYU Shanghai as a Global Academic Fellow for two years before attending the Schwarzman College. During her year at the Schwarzman College, Chang interned at Didi Chuxing and the Gates Foundations to explore how to combine business, professional service and social impact together to make a difference. Currently Chang works for McKinsey as a management consultant, also served as a project manager at ABC Pro Bono consulting in her spare time.

Jing SU

Jing Su is a Schwarzman Scholar from 2017-2018 cohort. She is originally from China’s northernmost province Heilongjiang and now works as a Global Strategy Associate at Delta Air Lines in Shanghai. Prior to Schwarzman, Jing graduated from Purdue University and worked at PwC - Risk Assurance in Chicago. Jing is passionate about music, traveling, children and education.

Mandy TAN

Mandy Tan graduated from the Schwarzman Scholars program in July 2019. She is from New York and has chosen to settle in Shanghai to take a Chief of Staff role at SPACE, a fitness start-up with studios in Beijing, Shanghai, and Taipei. While at Schwarzman, Mandy interned at the World Economic Forum, and prior to Schwarzman, Mandy worked at Deloitte Consulting in New York. She is Chinese-American and loves podcasts, reading, and working out.

Ran NIU

Ran Niu graduated from Fordham University with a Master’s degree Global Finance. She was responsible for following a number of intergovernmental processes and deliberations in the United Nations Headquarters. Currently in her 5th year of serving Harvard College Association for United States-China Relation (HAUSCR), Ran has been leading the core content design of the flagship programs that promote transitional dialogue between young leaders of China and the United States. As She interned at the United Nations Regional Commissions New York Office (RCNYO), under the Economic and Social Council.

Roy YU

Roy Yu is CEO and Portfolio Manager of Bright Summit Asset Management. In 2014, he launched the first security fund to be approved by the Asset Management Association of China. Roy has a BAR license and worked for a top law firm in China before becoming a portfolio manager.
