Speaker
People are often very surprised of how a poor kid like Tan Sri Dato’s Paduka Dr. Fng Ah Seng grew up to be a business tycoon and probably the biggest philanthropists in Malaysia before the age of 50. He owes his lifetime success to GIMLAP ideology, a hypothesis he has derived over the years. The world is getting smaller and to be a great leader, he believes we need the best from the Eastern and Western cultures to create our own unique approach to this competitive world.
Tan Sri Dato’ Paduka Dr. Fng Ah Seng is the Founder and Chairman of Epic Valley Holdings Group and the Chairman of Yayasan Muhibah Tan Sri Fng Ah Seng. He has attained extraordinary achievements throughout his life, from his time as an army officer to becoming an exemplary business entrepreneur and an honorable public figure. As one of the key players in the Malaysian property development industry, he founded the Epic Valley Holdings Group, which currently generates RM380million in annual sales. His business empire consists of 20 subsidiary companies that have successfully completed around 200 housing projects and more than 8500 houses throughout the Malaysian Peninsula. Since 2006, he has donated more than 5 million Malaysian Ringgit yearly for charitable and educational causes. He has received numerous awards both locally and internationally including China’s Top Ten Economic Talent Award, The Top Outstanding Young Entrepreneur of Asia etc. Honored for his contributions to society and the nation by the king of Malaysia, he was conferred the title of Tan Sri Title (P.S.M), which is equivalent to a ‘Lord’ in Britain. As a speaker on charity leadership, the author of 5 books, a weekly columnist and an honorary professor, he is an all-rounder who loves to take on challenges such as exploring the deep ocean off the coast of Australia, venturing into the Amazon Jungle, and trekking Mount Everest.
