Nicolás Tamayo Medina graduated from Los Andes University with bachelor degrees in Law and Philosophy. After graduation, he joined TransMilenio S.A., the public transport company of Bogota that operates the world's biggest Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) systems. Currently, he is the Director of Government Affairs of the company, coordinating the regulations and proposals of the political control bodies that are relevant to the mass-transit system. As a Schwarzman Scholar, Nicolás wants to strengthen his understanding of public policy and the influence of China in the transport sector in his country. Nicolás is from Colombia.
