Jose Maria (Lloyd) Nunag is at the exciting intersection of leadership, advocacy, research, and policy. He is experienced in spearheading complex, multi-million-dollar, international programs in over twenty nations. He was the youngest delegate of the historic United Nations (UN) High Level Meeting on Universal Health Coverage (UHC). With his intervention, the UN signed a political declaration on UHC to make that happen in every country. As a Schwarzman Scholar, he will develop an understanding of China’s UHC, health policies, and artificial intelligence in the hope of becoming the first-ever Filipino and nurse Director-General of the World Health Organisation. Lloyd is from the Philippines.
