Trevor Lwere is a senior studying Economics at the University of Notre Dame. He is a Hesburgh-Yusko scholar, a Kellogg International scholar, and previously served as president of Notre Dame’s African Students Association. Trevor founded the Pan-African Youth Conference as a platform for students to study Africa’s development challenges critically. He is the author of Visions at Dusk, a handbook for African youth to lead change in their communities. He has received grants to research youth political participation and smallholder farming in Africa. Trevor hopes to contribute to economic development in Africa through public service. Trevor is from Uganda.
