John Ferguson was admitted to Harvard as a junior and will graduate with a bachelor’s in Government and a master’s in Regional Studies—East Asia in four years. He led Harvard’s undergraduate foreign policy group to build the world’s largest high school foreign policy conference, Harvard’s largest undergraduate-led research program, and now—the Harvard-Tsinghua Dialogue, summits on every continent, and an interdisciplinary forum convening all Harvard schools. John’s master’s capstone project is advised by Ambassador Nicholas Burns. He has been recognized by multiple U.S. Secretaries of State, including Henry Kissinger. A half-Chinese/half-American from the U.S., He aspires to pioneer U.S.-China techno-diplomacy. John is from the United States.
