Aiden Cyr is an Indigenous leader and international climate advocate from Canada. Aiden was awarded an SOI U.S. Embassy Scholarship and engaged in bilateral dialogue surrounding Arctic foreign policy for two weeks in circumpolar Canada and Greenland. He is a recognized public speaker and helped lead a campaign dedicated to ending gender-based violence. Aiden attended COP25, met with dignitaries, and advocated for a pragmatic response to climate change. As a Grand Challenges Canada fellow for the Indigenous Innovation Initiative, he helped strategically advance the interests of Indigenous social entrepreneurs.
